Meet The Team

Owner and DVM
Dr. Katie Griger
I started working in veterinary medicine in 2010 as a student shadower then assistant in Papillion, NE. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Iowa State University veterinary school program in 2021. I am married to my husband Seth and currently we have two kitties (Izzy and Frank), a dog (Schmitt), and 13 chickens (all named).
As I have worked in this field my goal has been to become a practice owner to help bring quality patient care, staff care, and client care to one practice. Overall, my passion as a veterinarian is driven by our client's love of their fur and feathered babies and my desire to strengthen that human-animal bond!

Licensed Veterinary Technician
Andrea Nouzovsky LVT
I graduated from Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE in 2016. I have been a licensed veterinary technician since December 2016. I am married to my husband, Alex. We currently have four cats (Mr. P, Ke$ha, Iggy, and Cardi B) and three dogs (Tank, Dixie Mae, and Pepper). I do occasionally take home some bottle babies! I have always had a passion for animals ever since I was little. My top favorite things to do in the clinic are dental cleanings!

Practice Manager
Aereal Borrenpohl
I started working in veterinary medicine 10 years ago. I married my husband, Rick, in 2018. We have two daughters together, Brooklyn and Brinley, and a stepson Jacob. During my spare time I love to go camping, coaching youth sports, and attending our kids activities. We have three dogs, three cats, a mini horse, goats, and cattle on our farm.

Veterinary Assistant
McKenzie Baker
I graduated from Midwest Institute's Veterinary Technician program in 2023. I plan on sitting for my board exams later this year. I am married to my husband, Keevan. We have 3 dogs (Buck, Mya, and Cassie) that keep us on our toes. In my spare time I love to travel, go camping, fishing, and hiking. I also enjoy spending time with family.

Groomer
Jeannie Montanelli
I have been grooming for about 30 years. I owned and operated K9 Clips in Rock Port, MO for 15 years until the flood of 2011 forced me to close, being unable to get to Rock Port from Nemaha. I am certified by The National Dog Groomers Association of America for all breeds in the sporting group. I'm passionate about purebred dogs, especially cocker spaniels. I've been breeding/showing cockers since 1997. Having finished the AKC championships of over 50 dogs with the Monthaven kennel name. I enjoy spending time with my show cockers and scuba diving with my husband, John Montanelli.

Veterinary Assistant
Olivia Nichols
My name is Olivia Nichols. I am an assistant/kennel staff here at Nemaha Valley Veterinary Services. I am currently going to Southeast Community College for Livestock Management and Production, as I will graduate in May 2026. I chose to work at Nemaha Valley Veterinary Services because I have always loved working with animals and helping them when they are sick and not feeling well. A couple fun facts about me are that I have grown up on a farm since I was 4 years old raising cattle and I have an Australian Shepard named Callie.
